Warmer then expected It made me comfortable in 10+ mph winds and at a temperature of 30 degrees. I've been using front chest pocket for cell phone stoage. It's not all fleece, the black parts are nylon(?) with fleece inside.
Versatile Jacket for Four Seasons This is one of four Columbia jackets I own. I left the model prior to this one on a plane and missed it very much. This particular model has a light to medium fleece weight, stops most cold breezes, and has hard to find (in most jacket designs) armpit zippers that are essential to dry mountain climates with warm sun even in winter, and then cold when sun disappears. Great for strenuous activity or just walking the dog. It has some water resistance for snow and sleet, and rugged material in wear points. The front breast pocket is good for dog radio control transmitters or radios and cell-phones. This is the one jacket I keep in the car. Nice styling too, but I bought it for usage features.
Nice jacket for the money I really like this jacket. The loose fit and many pockets make it very functional while being comfortable and warm.
